Director Srinu Vytla has a knack of designing parody characters that he comes across in film industry. Salmon Raju from Dubai Seenu, Danayya from Ready and Jayasurya from King all were Srinu Vytla's tools of taking revenge on the 'irritating' characters that he came across. In his latest film Dookudu too there is MS Narayana character which is said to be a satire on Venkatesh.
In Dookudu, despite being old, MS Narayana tries to look like a young man by wearing costumes that suits younger heroes like Ram Charan (MS costumes were designed after RC's Orange costumes). He also thrives to do a film with young heroines like Genelia (For the sake of 'padding'. Recently Nithya Menen turned him down due to age factor). Finally he was seen without wig and makeup where nobody recognizes him (Venkatesh has his wig on all the time).
There is a talk going on film nagar that this character is a satirical take on Venkatesh, who did Namo Venkatesa under Vytla direction. That film was a commercial flop which incurred losses to the producers. But Venkatesh didn't pay a single penny back which irked Vytla as the producers are his close friends. Hence, the character 'Venkat Rao' in Dookudu, rumor mills say!
