Hansika who has been introduced to the Telugu screen through ‘Desa Muduru’ is in news now as it is said that she has agreed to act without a blouse in the Tamil film ‘Aravan.’ Some guessed she has decided to remove her blouse as she hasn’t too many offers either in Tamil or Telugu, these days.

But it is all a big mix-up. It is another girl by name Dhansika who has actually agreed to act without blouse and not Hansika. As the names are too similar excepting the first letter, the entire film industry thought that it was Hansika who removed her blouse. So this way Hansika has got tremendous publicity through not what she has done, but through what Dhansika has done. Some amused producers are believed to have approached Hansika and asked her if she also would act without a blouse. See how Hansika gained popularity at some one else’s cost.

Rajnikanth hospitalised

Tamil superstar Rajnikanth, whose new film was launched today, was hospitalised here this afternoon after he complained of breathing trouble.

The superstar, who took part in the first day's shooting of his new venture "Rana", suffered breathing problem and was rushed to Isabells Hospital in the city, sources said.

However, his condition stated to be stable, sources said.

After visiting her husband at the hospital Rajnikanth's wife told newspersons that the superstar was fine and there was nothing to worry.

She said Rajnikanth had a minor stomach infection after he ate something at the pooja held for his new film "Rana" at the studios here.

Following this, he started vomiting and was admitted to the hospital as a precautionary measure, she said. "There is nothing to worry. He is fine and in the safe hands of the doctors", she said and appealed to media not to sensationlise it, and his fans not to panic.

She said "we are also like any other citizen. Jus as you visit a doctor in the event of any illness, we have also come to the hospital," she said.

Balachandar selected for Phalke Award

The noted film director, Mr K Balachandar, has been selected for the coveted Dada Saheb Phalke award by the Centre for 2010.

Mr Balachandar, who has produced outstanding films, including ‘Sattekalapu Satteyya,’ ‘Guppedu Manasu,’ ‘Maro Charitra,’ and ‘Antuleni Kadha’ has directed films in all South Indian languages.
