‘Dam Maro Dam’ directed by Ramesh Sippy featuring Abhishek Bachan, Rana, Pratik Babbar and Bipasa Basu is set for release on the 22nd of this month. Trailers of the film were recently released. The trailer has set I na a big commotion. Bipasa says in a dialogue in the trailer that ‘women are cheaper in Goa than liquor’. Goan women are spitting fire on the film unit for dialogue.

Shivasena cadres have also expressed anger and said they would not keep quite if insolence was shown towards Goan women. They said it was improper to picturize Goa in an improper and distasteful manner.

They have also suggested to the Chief Minister and the Home Minister of Goa that producers and directors of films proposing to shoot in the backdrop of Goa should submit the story to a committee in advance and commence shooting only after approval.

According to information, the film director was already instructed that there should be no scenes belittling Goa. Still as there were dialogues offensive to the sentiments of Goans, several people are expressing their anger. It should be waited and seen where this controversy would lead.
